Veneers in Turkey are one of the most searched dental-tourism topics — and the price difference compared with UK or Irish dental fees is real and substantial. But the cost of your treatment depends significantly on how many veneers you actually need, and which material is right for your case. This page gives you specific, honest indicative figures so you can budget realistically before you enquire.

Veneer costs: Turkey vs UK (indicative)

The figures below are indicative starting prices for our Istanbul partner clinic, compared with typical UK market ranges. Your exact cost depends on material, quantity and any preparatory treatment identified during consultation.

Porcelain veneer (per tooth)€220£600–1,200~70–80%

All prices are indicative. Istanbul “from” prices assume no additional preparatory treatment. UK ranges are indicative market figures; costs vary considerably by location and practice. Exchange rates fluctuate.

How many veneers do you actually need?

This is one of the most important questions to understand before budgeting, because it directly drives your total cost. The number of veneers you need is determined by your smile zone — the teeth visible when you smile.

For most patients, the visible teeth are:

  • 8–10 upper teeth — the most common treatment range, covering the full upper smile line. For many patients seeking a cosmetic improvement, 8–10 upper veneers achieve the result beautifully.
  • 6–8 lower teeth — added when lower teeth are also visible in a broad smile. Not all patients need lower veneers.
  • 16–20 units total— for a complete upper-and-lower full smile makeover, often referred to as a “full set of veneers” or “20 veneers Turkey”.

Your specialist photographs your smile in multiple positions — at rest, smiling naturally, and at full smile — to determine exactly which teeth show. You are never pushed to treat teeth that do not appear in your smile. The result of this assessment directly determines your quoted cost.

No upselling on numbers.

If 8 veneers achieves your goal, you will be quoted for 8. The recommendation is based on your smile line — not on maximising the order value.

What the price includes — and what it does not

A standard veneer price at our partner clinic covers:

  • Consultation and shade selection
  • Minimal tooth preparation (typically 0.3–0.7 mm of enamel removed)
  • Temporary veneers worn during the laboratory fabrication period
  • Laboratory fabrication of your permanent e.max or porcelain veneers
  • Fitting, bonding and bite adjustment

Additional costs that are quoted separately if needed:

  • Extractions, if any teeth cannot be preserved (rare in veneer cases but possible)
  • A night guard, if you show signs of bruxism — grinding can chip veneers without protection
  • Digital Smile Design preview (included at our partner clinic — not charged as an add-on)
  • Travel, accommodation and transfers (available as an all-inclusive package)

Why veneers cost less in Turkey

The same structural factors that make all dental treatment more affordable in Istanbul apply to veneers. Clinic rental, staff costs and lab fees in Turkey are substantially lower than in London, Dublin or Munich — and these are the components that drive most of the price in a Western European practice.

The material is not compromised. Our partner clinic uses Ivoclar Vivadent e.max — the same lithium-disilicate ceramic manufactured in Liechtenstein used in premium European clinics. The ceramist laboratory producing your veneers works to the same technical standard. The only thing that changes is the overhead cost of the context in which the work is done.

Veneer cost questions, answered

A single porcelain or e.max veneer at our partner clinic in Istanbul starts from €220 per tooth (indicative). Composite veneers are less expensive at around €100–150 per tooth. These are starting figures — the exact price depends on material choice, the number of teeth, and any preparatory treatment needed. Your itemised quote will cover every component before you commit.
A full set covers the complete smile zone — upper and lower. Typically, 16–20 veneers are needed for a full upper-and-lower smile makeover. At €220 per e.max veneer, 20 veneers come to approximately €4,400 as an indicative starting figure. A full set of porcelain veneers (where shade and translucency are more customised) may be priced slightly higher. These figures are indicative: the final quote depends on your specific anatomy, the material chosen, and any additional preparation work identified during consultation.
The price difference reflects operating costs — not a difference in materials or skill. A porcelain veneer at a central London clinic typically costs £600–£1,200, largely because of clinic rental, staff wages and lab fees in the UK. In Istanbul, those overheads are substantially lower. The e.max blocks and Ivoclar Vivadent materials used are identical to those in premium UK practices. The ceramist lab producing your veneers works to the same quality standard. The saving is on overheads.
Composite veneers are considerably cheaper — typically €100–150 per tooth at our clinic — because they are sculpted chairside in a single appointment rather than being made in a laboratory. They are a good option for minor corrections and small gaps. The trade-off is longevity: composite typically lasts 5–7 years versus 10–15 years for e.max porcelain. Composite is also more susceptible to staining over time. For a full smile makeover, most patients choose e.max porcelain for durability and aesthetics.
Veneers rarely carry significant hidden costs compared to implants, because there is no surgical component and no consumables like bone grafts. The main additional costs to be aware of are: extraction of any teeth that cannot be saved (quoted separately); a night guard if there is evidence of bruxism (grinding), which can otherwise damage veneers; and the cost of a follow-up if an adjustment is needed after fitting. All of these are identified and disclosed before treatment begins. Your plan is fully itemised — there are no surprises.
