A Hollywood smile is one of the most searched dental procedures — and also one of the least clearly priced. Quotes online range from suspiciously cheap to eye-wateringly expensive, often without explanation. This page gives you specific indicative figures for Istanbul, explains what drives the total cost, and outlines honestly what you should budget for before you enquire.
Hollywood smile costs: Turkey vs UK (indicative)
A Hollywood smile is typically priced per arch (upper or lower) or as a full upper-and-lower package. The figures below reflect our Istanbul partner clinic’s indicative starting prices and comparable UK market ranges.
| Treatment | Istanbul from | UK indicative | Indicative saving |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 e.max veneers (1 arch) | €2,900 | £5,600–9,600 | ~60–70% |
| 10 e.max veneers (1 arch) | €3,500 | £7,000–14,000 | ~65–75% |
| 16 veneers (full smile) | from ~€5,000 | £9,600–19,200 | ~60–75% |
| 20 veneers (full smile) | from ~€6,500 | £12,000–24,000 | ~60–75% |
| Crowns vs veneers (per tooth) | €280–380 vs €220 | £800–1,600 vs £600–1,200 | ~65–75% |
All prices are indicative starting figures. Istanbul prices assume e.max veneers with no major preparatory treatment. UK ranges are indicative market figures and vary widely. Exchange rates fluctuate.
What drives the total cost of a Hollywood smile
Four factors determine what your Hollywood smile will actually cost. Understanding them helps you interpret any quote you receive — from us or from anyone else.
- Number of teeth. The single biggest variable. Most patients need 8–10 upper veneers for the visible smile zone. A full upper-and-lower smile typically involves 16–20 units. Each additional tooth adds to the cost directly. Your specialist photographs your smile to determine the exact number — no guessing.
- Material choice. E.max lithium-disilicate ceramic is the standard for Hollywood smile cases and is priced at €220+ per veneer. Zirconia is harder-wearing but slightly more opaque and typically used for back teeth. Composite (resin) is less expensive but shorter-lived. The material decision should be driven by aesthetics and longevity requirements — your specialist will explain the trade-offs.
- Lab quality. The ceramist laboratory that makes your veneers affects the final aesthetic result. Our partner clinic uses a high-quality in-house or partner lab that works to the same specification as premium European practices. We do not use low-cost offshore labs to cut costs invisibly.
- Digital Smile Design (DSD). DSD maps your proposed smile onto photographs of your face so you can approve the result before any preparation begins. At our partner clinic, this is included in treatment planning — it is not a chargeable add-on.
What the price includes — and what it does not
A standard Hollywood smile package at our partner clinic covers:
- Full consultation and Digital Smile Design planning session
- Minimal tooth preparation (typically 0.3–0.7 mm of enamel)
- Temporary veneers worn during the laboratory fabrication period
- Laboratory fabrication of permanent e.max or porcelain veneers
- Final fitting, bonding and bite check
- Follow-up adjustment appointment during the same trip
The following are quoted separately if they arise:
- Teeth whitening on teeth outside the veneer zone (if lower teeth are not veneered, whitening may be recommended to match the new shade)
- Gum contouring, if the gum line is uneven and affects the symmetry of the result
- A night guard, if there is evidence of bruxism — grinding will chip porcelain veneers without protection
- Travel, accommodation and transfers
The Digital Smile Design process means you see and agree the proposed result before any enamel is removed. No surprises at the fitting appointment.
