All-on-4 dental implants represent one of the most significant investments in dental tourism — and also one of the most dramatic price differences between Turkey and the UK. This page gives you specific, honest indicative figures for All-on-4, All-on-6 and All-on-8 in Istanbul, explains what those prices include, and outlines what could add to the cost so you can budget accurately before you get in touch.

All-on-4 costs: Turkey vs UK (indicative)

The figures below are indicative starting prices. The final cost depends on the implant system, bridge material, whether extractions or bone grafting are needed, and whether you treat one arch or both.

TreatmentIstanbul fromUK indicativeIndicative saving
All-on-4 (per arch)€3,400£12,000–18,000~75%
All-on-6 (per arch)€4,200£14,000–20,000~75%
All-on-8 (per arch)€5,200£16,000–22,000~75%
Full mouth All-on-4 (both arches)from ~€6,800£24,000–36,000~75%
Full mouth All-on-6 (both arches)from ~€8,400£28,000–40,000~75%

All prices are indicative starting points for standard cases. Istanbul prices include implants, abutments, temporary bridge and final bridge (on return visit). They do not include extractions, bone grafting or sinus lifts, which are identified by CBCT scan and quoted separately before any treatment begins. UK ranges are indicative market figures and vary significantly by location. Exchange rates fluctuate.

What drives the cost of All-on-4 treatment

Several variables mean that two patients receiving “All-on-4” can receive quite different quotes. Understanding these variables helps you evaluate any quote honestly.

  • Number of implants. All-on-4 uses 4 implants per arch; All-on-6 uses 6; All-on-8 uses 8. More implants mean more load-bearing contact points and greater stability — but also a higher cost. The right number is determined by your bone density, jaw anatomy and bite strength — not by budget alone.
  • Bridge material. The arch of teeth attached to your implants comes in two main materials. An acrylic (PMMA) bridge is lighter and less expensive — often used as a longer-term temporary. A full-arch zirconia bridge is more expensive, harder-wearing and looks more like natural teeth. The difference per arch is typically €500–1,000. Your specialist will discuss which is appropriate for your case.
  • Bone grafting or sinus lift. If your scan shows insufficient bone volume, preparatory procedures may be needed before implants can be placed. These add to cost and timeline. Many patients with moderate bone loss are still suitable for All-on-4 without grafting — the angled posterior implants are specifically designed to work with reduced bone.
  • Zygomatic implants. In cases of severe upper jaw bone loss, zygomatic implants (anchored in the cheekbone) may be the only viable option. These are more complex and priced differently — your specialist will be explicit about this if it applies to your case.

What the price includes — and what it does not

The indicative prices above cover all of the following:

  • Consultation and 3D CBCT scan (cone beam computed tomography) to assess bone volume and plan implant positions
  • Surgical placement of implants (Straumann or Nobel Biocare titanium posts) under local anaesthetic, with sedation available
  • Abutments connecting the implants to the bridge
  • A fixed temporary bridge fitted on the day of or day after surgery — you leave Istanbul with fixed, functional teeth
  • The final permanent bridge (zirconia or acrylic), fitted on a short return visit after the 3–6 month healing period

Not included in the indicative price — but quoted separately and disclosed before treatment begins:

  • Tooth extractions (if failing teeth need removing prior to surgery)
  • Bone graft or sinus lift (if scan reveals insufficient bone for standard implant placement)
  • Any blood tests or specialist referrals required before surgery (e.g. for patients with systemic health conditions)
  • Travel, accommodation and airport transfers
No surprises after you arrive.

Your 3D scan is reviewed before treatment begins. Any extractions, grafting or other preparatory work is disclosed — and priced — in your written treatment plan before you commit to surgery.

Why All-on-4 costs less in Turkey

The price gap between Turkey and the UK for All-on-4 is particularly large — often 70–75%. The structural reasons are the same as for other dental treatment, but the absolute saving is higher because the base procedure is more expensive.

Clinic overheads and staff wages in Istanbul are substantially lower than in London, Manchester or Bristol. The implant systems are identical — our partner clinic uses Straumann and Nobel Biocare, the same Swiss and Swedish brands used in premium UK implant practices. A specialist implantologist in Istanbul charges less per hour than their UK counterpart, reflecting Turkish wage levels rather than any difference in training or skill.

The combination of lower overheads, lower labour costs and the currency difference creates a genuine structural saving — not a quality shortcut. What goes in your jaw is the same; what costs less is the context around it.

All-on-4 cost questions, answered

All-on-4 dental implants in Turkey start from approximately €3,400 per arch at our Istanbul partner clinic. This is an indicative 'from' price and includes the four implants, abutments, and a temporary bridge fitted at the time of surgery. The final permanent bridge (zirconia or titanium-reinforced) is fitted on a short return visit after healing and is included in your itemised treatment plan. Any additional costs — such as extractions or bone grafting — are identified by your 3D scan and quoted before treatment begins.
All-on-6 uses two additional implants per arch and starts from €4,200 per arch — approximately €800 more than the All-on-4 starting price. The higher cost reflects the additional implants and abutments. Whether 4 or 6 implants is recommended depends on your bone density, bite strength and jaw anatomy — not on which option generates more revenue. Your specialist will explain the clinical reasoning if 6 implants is proposed.
Full-mouth treatment — upper and lower arches combined — starts from approximately €6,800 for All-on-4 on both arches (2 × €3,400 indicative). All-on-6 on both arches starts from around €8,400. All-on-8 (sometimes used for patients with very good bone volume) starts from approximately €10,400 for both arches combined. Many patients treat both arches at once because the surgical appointments, anaesthetic and healing overlap, reducing total time in Istanbul. All figures are indicative starting points — your itemised quote will break every component down.
All-on-4 in the UK typically costs £12,000–£20,000+ per arch. The difference is not in what implants are used — our partner clinic uses Straumann and Nobel Biocare, the same systems as leading UK practices — it is in what it costs to operate a clinic in Istanbul versus London or Manchester. Clinic rent, staff wages and lab fees in Turkey are substantially lower. When the implant brands, procedure and aftercare protocols are the same, the remaining price difference is overheads.
We are straightforward about this: there can be additional costs that only a clinical scan can identify. If you need teeth extracted before surgery, each extraction is priced separately. If bone volume is inadequate, grafting or a sinus lift is quoted separately. If zygomatic implants are needed (for severe upper jaw bone loss), the price is different entirely. All of these are identified by your CBCT scan before any treatment begins — nothing is revealed after you arrive. Your full treatment plan is itemised and agreed before you commit to anything.
The type of final bridge material is one of the main variables affecting the overall cost. An acrylic (PMMA) bridge is less expensive — often used as a longer-term temporary — and is lighter, easier to repair but more susceptible to chipping over time. A full-arch zirconia bridge is more expensive, harder-wearing and looks more like natural teeth. The difference in material cost is typically €500–1,000 per arch. Your specialist will discuss which material is appropriate for your bite, jaw anatomy and budget. Neither option is inherently better — they suit different situations.
